The causative agent of Kawasaki Syndrome spreads through the air at a large scale

A new study of the Catalan Institute of Climate Sciences (IC3), in collaboration with other research institutes in the United States and Japan, accomplishes for the first time the association of a harmful agent's transport through the wind with the Kawasaki syndrome, a disease for which there is still no known cause since the first case's diagnosis in Japan 1960. By now it is the main cause of acquired heart disease in children worldwide.
